    BOMBA rice is the..well..bomb?

A lot of people in Valencia prefer the Senia variety, although it is a little less resistant to over-cooking, it should be cheaper too. As a general rule if the package says "denominación de origen Valencia" and does not specify that it is the BAmoba variety, it should be Senia

This!, invest in a cut glove, mandolin cuts are the worst and the guard is pretty annoying...

    European exotic wood suppliers

Thanks Maxim! That's exactly what I was looking for! It seems that Germany is the go to EU country for everything woodworking related, I get all my veneers from a German site and of course Dictum rules the tool world.

    voice dictation on computers anyone?

Nuance is the leader in the field, available for Mac and PC, I did some research for my dad, and to get to 99% accuracy you need a good headset microphone. David Pogue from the NY Times dictates all his "missing manual" books, I'm sure he has an article somewhere with his setup.

    European exotic wood suppliers

Hi, Does anyone know any European suppliers of exotic woods? I'd love to buy from our vendors, but Spain's customs are stopping everything above 20 euros and charging a minimum of 21% in VAT, plus management fees. Thanks!
