My wife washed my new knife in the dishwasher, the one Dave rehandled. Now the handle looks all dark and ugly. Can it be saved?

AmenYeah, it's staying married that's the tough part.
So simple yet so sharp.Well at least you know it's clean! :rofl2:
HOt damn. The battle continues and it is not just the wife or kids that you have to watch out for. Often guests want to help out after dinner and somehow the knives that you made damn sure to remove before the uninitiated arrived, some how end up in the sink.
Had a nice burn mark on a handle once after guests... gotta laugh.
got to laugh. Not me, I gotta be putting up a sign next time telling helpful guest to keep their grimy mitts off my J-Blades, less one falls of the wall and takes off a finger. After I demonstrate the bladed efffectivness on news paper and arm hair. I can' even get anyone to even pick them up by the handle. makes me laugh when someone is intimidated at picking up a knife by the handle. Get back or get wacked!
