Has anyone heard of or used these before? I have been looking at the du beyer pans but wanted the cast handle version that they no longer make

.

Then this morning I was reading the WSJ weekend edition and they mentioned these pans. I think they look well made but was looking for anyone with some personal experience.

$200 for a 10"...Yikes! And they look all beat up--I mean rustic

Actually they look really cool, but I'll use my deBuyer for the time being. If you buy one, please report back.

BTW the cast iron handle De Buyer pans are still available via rakuten from Japan

Yea, to rich to me too since it seems Rakutan still has the cast handle de Buyer.

I do like to see small businesses making things like this by hand. When I figure that in the price is more reasonable.

correction from above. too rich for my wife..me? pfft..i love it. apparently, they are sold out, so other's feel the same way. i think they look cooler than the dubuyer stuff. all hammered.
