I'm a fellow knife nut that is starting his collection. Learning to sharpen, wield and just enjoy fine cutlery. Next project is to rehandle some of my current knives that have nice steel but so so handles.

Welcome, you'll be able to find vendors who can make and/or install custom handles, I'm getting some done at the moment too. If you read around you'll probably be able to find some DIY information if you're brave enough to try it yourself as well

Can't stop grabbing knives. Saw two shig Kitaeji's online yesterday and now they are on the way to their new home...Dreaming of Jnat's....you guys know the drill.
