So here's the fix - I'm after a Kramer Meiji which seems to me is only sold by Sur la Table in the US, and they do not ship to UK :)

So I need a kind person, located in the US obviously, to buy on my behalf and then drop it in the mail to me. Could anyone oblige?

You get a passaround try too :)

Cheers

Nigel

I just sent off a Konosuke Fujiyama off to the UK via USPS. It cost 54 US dollars to ship, so factor that in as well. I'd be more than happy to help, if you wish.

There could be some proxy shipping agents doing this kind of thing, too

Asteger - honest question, what are proxy shipping agents?

Edit: oh you mean like like MyUS?

Sorry, as I don't know about MyUS. With proxies you might be able to use their address for your order, then they'll receive your stuff, probably check and re-pack it, and ship it on to wherever you are.

Yes, that sounds just like MyUs.

I thought it would be better fun getting a fellow knife nut involved :)
