Not sure I’ve had one I didn’t like beyond Malort which is designed to be awful.

Off the top of my head I’ve got - Fernet Branca, Branca Menta, Braulio, Vecchio, Averna, Montenegro, nonino, Campari, Aperol, Cynar, San Marco, and Melleti the cabinet. Probably another few sitting dusty in the back from my collector phase a few years ago too.

Caplletti Rabarbaro and Pasubio are really nice as well. Pasubio is a bit more like a sweet vermouth but Rabarbaro is more similar to something like Cynar, both are quite nice.

Have you tried Zwack Unicum? It’s a Hungarian bitter liqueur, drank it a lot on visits to Budapest.

Pointed tips, especially on longer knives, are vastly overrated.

The further away from your hand the tip gets, the less dexterity you have and the less useful the tip is. The heel of the knife can be very useful, particularly on in-hand tasks.

So this morning I smeared some goat cheese and a sprinkle of curry powder+oregano on the pizza...absolutely bangin.
