I have a Naniwa 120 grit powder that looks blacker than that picture purchased from an eBay seller, should be getting here sometime in the next month or so. Was mainly thinking of using it for flattening Naturals on a larger reference plate than what my atoma currently is... Some of my Naturals are getting to have really weird dimensions

it came in and I flattened a 320 grit and a fairly dished 220 pink brick with that powder on a granite tile. Used conservatively, the bottle should last many many flattening sessions.
As to speeding up the thinning process...my pink brick is so porous that I'm nearly positive a good deal of the mixed slurry that formed on the tile has sucked back into the top 5mm of the stone.
