Doesn't make me feel inadequate at all. Sure, I don't have those skills despite my years but it warms my heart thinking that there are young people who will ensure knife craft continues. That she is a very young Australian and the clip was made by a government funded, multi-cultural broadcaster is cause for a little pride.

BTW, the same broadcaster - SBS, Special Broadcasting Service - produced this introductory buying guide for knives: http://www.sbs.com.au/food/explainer/sharpest-cut. It has its flaws but is better than most glossy introductions into the practical knife world.
