Used with custom handle. Ever thinned or too fixed just some finger stones to try and doll it up when I’m bored. 230mm length, 49mm height and 230g. There is a hairline crack on the butt end of the handle in the horn. Asking $800 shipped conus

I didn’t realize this was a thing on these knives (the KU finish). So cool

I think this one is from 2015. It’s definitely an older one.

Sweet knife. If kono made these today they’d cost 1800 bucks! GLWS!

Here's something you don't see every day. Surprised to see you letting this one go

...based on what??
The recent Blue 1 sumingashi, sharpened by Morihiro, were $720 USD. You don't even have to use Wayback machine to see those numbers either- its LITERALLY still listed on Tosho's website. And that was with an ebony handle with cream horn, which usually adds $100 USD.
What are you basing your numbers on?

As for OP- definitely a nice knife!
I have a B1 KU from this batch, and even with some haphazard aftermarket alterations to the geometry by the previous owner, it still cuts so well. GLWS
