Hello All,
As part of the learning curve that goes into making hollow grinds on single bevel knives I've undertaken to produce a few s-ground blades. This is the first that I'm offering to all of you. It's extraordinarily light for its size and should be a keen performer.
Blade: 242mmx55mm AEB-L (63 HRC) 320 grit hand finish
Neck: 15mmx13mm
Handle: 127mmx 24.5mmx22.3mm tapering to 22.0mmx18.4mm, burned oak, oiled and waxed
POB: 40mm from the handle
Spine: 2.59mm at the neck, 2.07mm at 12.75cm, .71mm 1cm from the tip
Grind: S-ground, convex, right hand bias
Weight: 122 grams
Relieved choil and spine
Edge: .1mm .25mm@2mm, .52mm@5mm, .63mm@10mm measured at the midpoint.
Asking $300 U.S shipped+ insured, in North America, for shipping to Europe I will cover the first 25$ US.
