I see some discussion on diamond lapping films but can any of you speak to the quality and durability of the aluminum oxide films? How do they compare to diamond films or even aluminum oxide sandpapers? I'm on the fence about buying just because of cost but films should provide benefits almost like resin or vitrified diamond stones vs. plates and would be a no-brainer depending on durability. Issue with aluminum oxide is theoretical versatility relative to high carbide steels, mostly, though these are pretty far down the list of priorities for me. Thanks!
