I suppose that I should Say hi. Even though I've already posted a fair bit.
Cooking history.
At school I did an extra year of home economics rather than a gcse
Once I left school, I got a part time job as a delivery driver at an Italian pizzeria (ok restaurant but the main thing we sold was pizza), where I worked for 6 years, and did time front of house and kitchen when it was slow.
I quit for my last year at uni, as I had too much to do with my degree to be able to keep the job going.
I didn't seriously start thinking about food until I met my wife 6 years ago.
I now feel that my cooking ability is starting to exceed the ability of my equipment, hence I started to start browsing here.
By trade I am a software engineer for a small company, which I've been doing for about 11 years.
