SOLD Budget Fugu Honyaki 300mm

Overpaid for this via Re-Knife. Chased a crisp shinogi but its above my skill level. Has some warping I couldn’t straighten. Shinogi is now more a “convex” wide bevel so it slices like a suji/fugu hybrid, less steering. It slices well. Decent finish. Chip on ferrule of handle.

I know its not a perfect single bevel but it slices nice and has a beautiful hamon if you want to give it a go for a polish or just have a cheap honyaki in your arsenal
