I have Venev diamond paste and it says “good for two years since the manufactured date”. The manufacture date was 2020. So, can the diamond paste expire? Does it become toxic or less abrasive?

My scientific wild-ass guess is that it might possibly settle. It depends on the “weight” (viscosity, really) of the grease.

My suspicion is that it will last a lifetime, and the stated limit could be either a warranty limiter or even an inducement to buy a fresher replacement.

That’s what I thought as well, that either a gov requirement or a warranty thing. I am not planning on munching on it like blokey did. Should be alright then.
