?? CCK 1102 not the easiest to find, why is that?

For a long time, probably in the neighborhood of 7 years, the 1102 has been harder to find than many other CCK's. Hell, you see all manner of CCK cleavers on eBay of all places, but rarely the 1102.
I'd wager the 1102 is one of the company's most popular models.

So why do you think they don't simply up their production? It's not like there is anything special about the steel, it's just the geometry, compared to their other models.

Always include a pic when possible.

My 1102 is in storage...they are hard to come by and just about perfect size thinness.
 
i have one in my kitchen battery of cleavers and used it just last week. i can't remember if its one I picked up in Hong Kong or someplace else but I think it was at CCK's Shanghai St. Shop. Very good large, thin vegetable slicers.
