It was a Shiro Kamo 100mm petty/pairing knife to the guy who lives in the adjoining unit to mine who used to be a chef. I had several for him to choose from as I wanted to show my appreciation for him being such a good neighbor over the years and he chose not the most expensive but arguably the knife with the most heart and soul of those on offer. I told him our friendship was over if he did not pay me for the knife with a coin. This was the coin he brought me. Bro was wearing a Giants tee shirt at the time. I don’t give a rats ass about sportsball but I teared up a little when he handed me this because it had meaning to him. I was expecting a quarter and that would have been golden. I hate sports but I’m taking this to my grave.
