NO ChoP!
Old Head
Clad with 100 year old stock Japanese Iron; woodgrain appearance...
This knife has some belly, and is substantial. I would classify it as "mighty" and rustic.
Takes a really colorful patina, quickly.
Sandlewood/ pakka D handle (has a copper tube that is visible at the top of handle, could use some epoxy to seal everything, I think, as there are some noticeable gaps around machi area)
I sanded out some of the rustic grind marks with 600 grit, otherwise knife is relatively untouched from retailer....
New $260/ came "zero ground" from retailer...
$170 shipped
