The Only reason I'm selling this one is I have another on order that's a bit more in my size preference. Mr Jiro makes some pretty badass knives, in my opinion. Everybody should have at least one in their stable.

This one has scene light use, maybe a combined time of 5 hours worth. Doesn't seem like a lot given my afore mentioned praise, but that's just where life is at currently.

Stropped on a muddy red aoto to open the edge up a bit, followed by hard felt. Blade does have some wonderful blue patina, which can disappear upon request.

Stats:
Edge length 245mm
Heel height 54.15mm
Spine at handle 8mm
Weight 238.45g
Handle Tagayasan Wa
Steel Shirogami W1, soft iron clad

Price is $630 to your door conus. For international shipping, the first $15 is covered.

I own already few Jiros and I am tempted. Great opportunity everyone!

Nice Marc!does it have a more convex grind than the current ones?
GLWS!!

The most current one I have is a western #65. This one is thicker along the spine than the western, which may make it a touch more convex. But if comparing to recent wa handle ones, I‘m not sure.
