Yo-Yo's Bach isn't my favorite, but in general he lives up to the hype. Incredible musicians, incredible human. I've worked with him a few times. Just one of the nicest people ever.

Not a big fan of Lang-Lang. He is definitely style over substance. Yuja Wang is the real deal. No one can compete with her technical prowess and backs it up with incredible musicality.

I re-listened to Joshua Bell's Chopin Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2. In that recording, it feels like he places more focus on using the entirety of his bow than on shaping his phrases. To be fair, that piece can be difficult to phrase, but Joshua Bell's rendition sounds careless to me. Maybe he isn't interested in a piano piece, which would be fair... but then why record it? I don't have the same problem with some of his more difficult repertoire, but it feels like more difficult pieces can be more straightforward to phrase in general (if the musician chooses the more straightforward way...).

PSA: If any of ya’ll decide to design a coffee grinder in the future, make sure you have both numerical markings on the adjustments, and provide a recommended range to start at for various coffee styles. If you don’t, just know that I will buy 2 of them then forcibly insert them into all of your available orifices so that your future customers don’t have to waste hundreds of grams of coffee finding the appropriate setting range by bounding it repeatedly when they probably could have hit it in 40g if you just reported the results of your own testing 🙃

Also, if you post a video manual for your grinder on its sale page, make sure it’s for that grinder and not for another grinder you carry that has entirely different and unrelated settings :upsidedownspin:
