Knife Boxes

I live and cook in dc and as a result of living in the city most of our cooks get our knives delivered to the restaurant, we have a pretty awesome lineup of knife boxes and it's only getting larger. The konosuke and gesshin are super pretty, I don't like the tojiro ones for some reason.

I love and keep all of my Japanese knife boxes. The Japanese are very fond of packaging. It's very cool looking at the produce and seeing all the small pristine packaging of products. Things like strawberries are all neatly lined up perfectly in there package.

Lol, I keep all my knife boxes and also the bubble wrap the is wrapping the knife box in the package. It somehow feels like that they are a pair that cant be separated .
