Knife shops in Tokyo and Kyoto

My sons are in Tokyo and Kyoto for the next couple weeks. What are the good knife shops for them to visit that have great selection of knives and stones or are run by the knifemakers themselves? An address would be good if you have it as well.

I would love to visit Yasushige in Kyoto. Might be tricky for non-Japanese speaking folks but worth a shot.
