Great little knife but I don’t find myself using bunkas as much. Rectangle boy now. Also the profile on this knife is perfect by my standards, half flat with a good amount of curve by the tip. The stains on the knife are from the lacquer on it from the factory, idk why they apply it on a stainless knife.

I have the K-tip of the Hatsukokoro/Nigara knife. It's a better cutter than I was expecting and very well forged, just beautifully done.
