Mirin question

I ordered it through the web, from Takara. I've used it several times now, in teriyaki and in noodle dishes, and the results have been very good.

Have you checked Uwajimaya market in Beaverton or the small Japanese market across the street from the convention center on MLK? I'd be surprised if one or the other didn't have an unsalted Mirin.
