Question about a board

I noticed the surface is different between the two sides of this board. Do I only use the side the sticker is on?

If that’s the embossed polyethylene, I don’t see why you couldn’t use either or both sides.
 
yea it is. i think it is this board. i don't see why either, but why different surface? more grip on one side?

Probably a consequence of how they’re made. I could not find a sharp pic of the nonlabel side’s texture … it looks vaguely ropy.

I’d choose on the basis of which side would be easier to keep clean. The top side’s eggcrate-style texture might trap some food residues, though its smaller edge contact area might be nicer to knives.
