Kato went to JKI recently for a spa day, fresh edge and clean face. Some very light home use since.

Cuts like a dream

Looking for a TF specimen in good shape considering how some of these can be in the finish and blade road topic.

GLWS, lovely knife!

Perhaps a history on the Kato might help tempted Denka owners.

Pity you don't have a 240 Kato... I just tried my sharpened Denka 210...it ghosts through everything. Except butternut squash, that is just like soft butter... :)

I feel the 240 Kato would probably live in a higher trade bracket. Selling a 210 in this market would probably buy a new 240 Denka

Strangely the height of my 210 Denka would be too tall for a 240... Might just be mine... But the 210 is the ideal size for push cut lazering...

Yeah true, the 240 seem to sell for about $120 more than the 210 on BST.

But the 210 is probably the most liked Kato size without getting too chunky and heavy.

i just want the handle from that!! [emoji7]

You just want that handle from my OG Kato suji. Wouldn’t shut up about the damn thing for months after you first tried it.

It is wayyyyyyy nicer than any other burnt chestnut handle I’ve used. Including all the other Kato’s[emoji41]

Anton,
Glad to see my 210 Nashiji didn't put you off the TF. I'm enjoying my 180 Denka.

My favorite knife GLWS. Just feels great in hand and takes a wicked edge.
