    Unpopular opinions

Im about to unwatch this thread if this water/coffee nonsense continues. Please give me a real unpopular opinion. I'll try to get this back on track. As much as we all love workhorses, if we could only pick one knife to use on the daily it's going to be laser. Just admit it.

Curious about what to do to get this thing moving. Should I lower the price or refinish the kasumi and bring out the detail on that dirty wrought iron?

SOLD Merion Forge Damascus Full Polish 240 Gyuto

There was a guy who said he was going to take it. I sent the payment request and was ghosted. Feel like that’s happened a lot recently. Not sure what’s going on with the members these days

SOLD Merion Forge Damascus Full Polish 240 Gyuto

It’s a full stone polish but I believe the final finish incorporates finger stones

    Meaning of “stone-ready bevels”

Others can speak to this way better than me but I believe it is both. As the high spots plow thru the stone they won’t burnish like on hard stone, maybe a bit of forcing the stone to yield to the bevel and fill in the low spots, mud helping as well. Let’s page a few experts here though @edthompson
