Comfortfood of my childhood. I loved it when my mom did that, and so recently i made it again, in a slightly modernized version: pork with rice and peas.
Plain in Pigna is a swiss dish, and also called oven-made Rösti (hashbrowns).
To the grated potatoes here we added a mini-salami, Landjäger (@Michi how would you translate it?) and bacon.
As side we had a corn salad
When i saw this, i knew i had to try it asap.
Today was the day and it is a wonderful dish. Thank you for inspiration.
