I have a nice piece of Wakasa asagi. It's a koppa, but in reality, it's almost a rectangle. It is nice and fine, an gives killer edges. Wakasa stones are similar to takashima.
The steel is about 42-48hcr. These very soft steels benefit for a coarser edge (800 chosera is a good stone)
