I scored a sweet deal on a Kramer 10k grit stone on ebay. Anyone know if the glass side of stone can serve any purpose or is it strictly aesthetics? stone flattening/cleaning maybe? It looks strikingly similar to Shapton glass stones, so it just had me thinking.
