Surprised this is still around. This knife would be a very solid choice in your line up
 
If this was a K-tip I would be all over it. Also a choil shot may be helpful.

For what its worth, I have the K-tip and I have the Tsubaya version of this knife, which is pretty close to identical to the one here, aside from Kagekiyo spending more time on fit and finish. The K Tip is cooler looking, but the regular gyuto cuts better, by a lot. This is pretty much the gold standard for cutting anything soft (the grinds so sweet, if I chip I don't trust myself to thin).
