So I am thinning the herd...

Bloodroot 7" boning knife. African Blackwood, rubber and ceramic spacers, Integral bolster. HRC 62. Comes with saya. no need to tout this brand as a performer. it is as good as boning knife gets. asking what i paid, $480 shipped

Gesshin Kageyiko 270mm sujihiki. Steel is white #2. Beautiful f&f, and very cool grind( almost like a double beveled thinner yanagi) Sweet knife, I am having second thoughts... with saya $275 shipped

Masayuki Deba 180mm. Shigefusa Lineage, one of the sons. Beautiful shape, impeccable grind, amazing steel - this is the best 180mm Deba I've used. comes with nice saya. $350 shipped

Gengetsu yo "gyutohiki". I re handled and re profiled this 240mm gengetsu gyuto, after a serious chip(i punched that cook right in the face)(not really). Pretty sweet 225mm slicer/line knife now. Stainless clad white #1. Blade height is 38/39mm. Very thin, nice taper. Gets as sharp as my carters(sharp as anything). The handle is bog oak with a bog oak saya. I rounded the integral bolster and shaped the handle. it feels real nice, however, I ground a little to much metal from the bolster(see photo)... merely aesthetic and could be fixed. Great blade paid at least $500, i think new. as it is, yours for $270.

And a brand new, never been used goko 240mm gyuto. very cool kurouchi stainless clad. Tall, good steel, very sharp otb, big comfy handle, great value. $160

And now 2 awesome "edc" knives. Both these knives have seen barely any use. Seriously opened a box or two.

178mm white #1 original murray carter neck knife and kydex sheath. The handle is buffalo horn with honeycomb carbon fiber spacer. $375 shipped

Takeda NAS red carbon fiber 95 mm folder. comes with nice leather holder. paid $485. $350 shipped

I have an almost identical (mine is blackwood and copper handle) bloodroot boning knife. Very nice knife, this is a fair price and a chance to skip the nearly 3 yr wait for one. Good luck with all the sales.

I'm so tempted on that masayuki, but must resist...

man, if that bloodroot were practically any other shape...

some beautiful knives, sir! GLWS!

I really want a lock back Takeda folder.

choil shot of Gengetsu. I kindof stink at choil shots(especially at night), but i think you get the idea. its thin.

I unexpectedly had to leave to town for a couple weeks after positing this.... So most everything is still around.

But the Masayuki Deba is sold.

so a bump on the rest with price drops:

$450 for the bloodroot boning knife with saya

$260 for Kageyiko Sujihiki. this was a good value when i bought it, now its a steal.

$150 for brand new, neve used 240mm white #1 gyuto

$250 for gengetsu "gyutohiki"/line knife, bog oak handle and saya.

$375 for the carter neck knife, brand new, never been used

$320 for NAS Takeda flipper edc, sweet carbon fiber handle

I can't believe that the Kageyiko suji is not sold for that price - I just bought one for $350 plus taxes. Somebody is going to get quite a bargain - (wish I didn't buy mine so soon). Hmm for that price I should buy it and give it to my son for christmas ;-).

Ok the Deba is sold. The sujihiki and gengetsu are pending...
Now, another drop. I feel like these are very good deals, and im not just saying that because im selling them. maybe i need better photos...abuhhh

$440 for the bloodroot boning knife with saya

$140 for brand new, never used stainless clad 240mm white #1 gyuto. This is a good value off the shelf. At htis price, it is an exceptional value. simple. i cant post the site, but google goko gyuto and read reviews...

$350 for the carter neck knife, brand new, never been used. sweet polished buffalo horn honey comb carbon fiber handle. very very sharp

$300 for NAS Takeda flipper edc, badass carbon fiber plaid handle. Brand freaking new.

My mailbox is clear again.
The suji, gengetsu, and deba are sold. Now another mother grabbin' price drop. This is the last one. Then, imma take new pics and raise prices. you heard me. If you guys dont go for these deals, you must be on crazy pills. Or, I should be taking better photos.

$440 for the bloodroot boning knife - aka best boning knife in the world - with a saya to boot.

$130 for brand new, never used stainless clad 240mm white #1 gyuto. This is a good value off the shelf. At htis price, it is an exceptional value. simple. i cant post the site, but google goko gyuto and read reviews...

$330 for the carter neck knife, brand new, never been used. sweet polished buffalo horn honey comb carbon fiber handle. very very sharp

$275 for NAS Takeda flipper edc, badass

Goko Gyuto is sold. congrats to the buyer.

Bloodroot boning knife still available. There is a 3 yr waiting list for this maker. The fit and finish on this knife is the finest amongst my collection. The best feel of any integral bolster ive known. Just dont use it much.$440

Carter neck knife. The sharpest otb knife i own. pretty much brand new- opened a box or two. its a beauty, and the cheapest you find a carter made neck knife in any condition. $330

The takeda is statement flipper. handle with swagger, great blade. oh its brand new. very sharo, very sexy. $275. brand new, sell for $425. Someone put me out of misery already.

Takeda folder

Takeda is sold. There will be no more price drops. One last bump then new photos/posts and a price increases.

The bloodroot is literally the best boning knife ever made. no bs. Did i mention that the blackwood from the handle came from a turn of the century clarinet factory in paris? For real. $440 is a damn fine price with a saya.

And Murray Carter's heat treat and grind is porbably the best in the history of the world and to have that around your neck, in your pocket or on your belt... it feels good, real good. $330 is too good a price for me to lower it.

Just received my gengetsu gyuto hiki or whatever it's called. I was very pleasantly surprised how well it cut after all the modifications. Good job on the reprofiling. Cuts like a dream.

Ok, the last one standing. Bump.

Murray Carter neck knife 177mm. Polished buffalo horn, honey combed carbon fiber spacers, stainless pines, white #1 steel.

Essentially new, used only to open a couple boxes. Priced to sell, $330 shipped. If this doesn't take, new photos and post elsewhere.
