OK, typo. Was meant to say "doing".
Hard to see in my photo but the knife is getting a cool patina.
I clean the knife immediately when using it so the patina is developing slower than if I let it sit a few minutes.
Cuts great, looks great, I am happy. I find myself buying groceries with cutting in mind. No more pre-sliced anything for me.

The ferrule is African Blackwood. Which reminds me I need to get more.
Not overly expensive and it goes with everything.
