I’ve found esoo’s gallery very helpful, and was trying to do something similar. Still have some work to do on brevity and a lot of work to do on ruthless collection culling though… Not quite sure I’ll ever get it down to a core of 4!

Hmmmm …. Seems like a path I followed! Was inevitably drawn to expanding my collection of knives by Master Smiths and dominant others. Best advice … don’t do it … your bank account will thank you.
Master Smiths and J-nats are the two rabbit holes I’ve wisely steered well clear of so far!
Hugely flattering to think that I’m tracing a similar path as you did. Pretty sure one or two of my knives used to be yours.
