Shig and Kato drop at JNS including a western handle

Anyone see what the 240 Kato KU sold for? Getting a little fed up with the disappearing price act honestly.
The internet archive’s wayback machine is sometimes helpful to get historic pricing data as well. JNS pages may change too quickly to get captured there though. I haven’t tried it myself.

At most the wayback machine captures daily. Will never capture when the page change as fast as this.

Kato western handle itself looks fabulous. I’m sure the knife is outta my price range but any idea who did the handle?
Looks a little DIY-y to me. That blade deserves better IMHO. Could have been Maxsim himself. Highly doubtful thats Katos handiwork.

Some sweet pieces. Auctions are almost done.

Four Katos and a stainless clad Kamon... Surprised this passed without comment!

It's interesting that the seller chose to go with eBay. Taking into account eBay fees/sales tax, the seller could almost certainly have made a lot more and the buyers maybe paid a bit less if they'd been sold here. (And based on the provenance of that particular Kamon), it's fair to assume the seller's a member here.)
