Yeah, let's get a choil shot.

This is a :jawdrop: of a knife! The kind of thing you show off at parties!

Amazing work on this one Bill. Great looking steel and masterfully executed bolsters and handle!

That Musk ox boss looks familiar!! :D

Guess Bill is occupied making the last knives for Bladeshow! :)
He will ha at table 15Q, so if you are a nut go visit him, and do a lot of pics and play with his knives :)

I wish you luck on Blade Bill. However, when you spot that sneaky Hobbit, make sure to hide this knife. We dont wanna have this end up in Seattle, so keep an eye on him! :) A few pics of your table would be fun, as I wonder what else you bring for the show :)

I liked pearl.. Now I really like musk Ox horn!

Late to the party, but I have to say, integral bolster and your (Bill) handle (handled personally) makes it for me. Forget about Damascus, musk ox horn, I can live without it, but those two things, handle (shape and size) and bolster done perfectly, make it a perfect western knife for me. Period.

And you know what they say - people like to copy beautiful things and boy, do I want to make one like that. :D

Great work, Bill. Very inspiring.

Sorry Guys, Oivind is right, I have been practically sleeping in the shop.

The quick specks are:

Thickness at bolster, 2.5mm thickness mid spine. 1.85mm, thickness 50mm from tip, 1.3mm, thickness at tip .2mm.
edge thickness 2mm behind edge, .2mm
width at heel 40.4mm
length of cutting edge, 298.45mm
handle, 140mm, long, 17.3mm, wide (side to side) at bolster, 22.6mm high, (top to bottom) at bolster. 27mm wide at swell, 31.75mm high at swell, 23mm wide at the waist, 28mm high at waist.

overall length 444.5mm

I don't have a weight but I'll add it later today.

Bill - how about the balance point too? That is a beautiful piece of work!!

Well with the heavy musk ox handle it balances right in the curve of the bolsters. I thought about thinning the handle to take a little weight out of it but it feels so good I didn't want to mess with it.

When I saw Bill's Dragon's Breath with Sheephorn handle at EE a couple of months ago, I was thinking that I would really like it but in Musk ox horn. Now, I am seeing the real deal with even more pronounced fire breath and it is absolutely amazing, I have come back to look at this at least ten times. To use an Oivind analogy - I want this high end ho's sister.

Hehe.
There are however angels, the one you bring home to your family, the one you introduce to your mother and marries. And there are girls nobody will ever know about. Carter is the provider of the slutty ones, the one you break the unwritten rules with. Burke is the provider of the elegance, the pure, the unique, the one you wanna spend your life with .)

Remember, there is a difference between Estella Marie Thompson as Devine Brown in "Hughs proudest moment" and Charlize Theron as Sara Deever in "Sweet November".

Im out celebrating new job and title tomorrow and following day, won't be around on the forum, so I wish Bill the best @ Bladeshow. If you are a forum member you should visit him and talk. Take some pics, that would be awesome. Wish I could go to Blade, but Im stuck at parties at work :(

Regarding Bills decision on the balance point:
Good choice, the feel in the hand is the deal.

Dang!!!! That piece of horn probably costs almost as much as my first car.:D

God damn Im starting to look forward to this knife!
Playing with the thoughts about letting JohnnyChance do a review on it before it leaves the US, but I don't know if he is up for the challenge :)
He might ruin the blade... Hmmmmm?
