I can't tell you the reason exactly. But I understand you really wanted something specific and you did not get it (though I think the ladder pattern knife you had was awesome). We also got our knives a decent amount of time apart and he may not of been making that style of damascus consistently yet. Bob is not the kind of person where money will have an affect on anything he wants or will do.

I'll say it flat out. His new Euro stuff looks a helluva lot like salty's pattern with a western handle.
