Beautiful knife- I like the hardwood handle. How does it cut?

Btw, I love my Heiji SS Santoku. The balance, profile, and sharpness are perfect.

Also, ZPD 189 has no trouble sharpening on good Japanese stones--you just need a light touch.
The steel handles poorly if you're heavy handed on sharpening.
