NKD! Nakagawa Blue 2 Mizu Honyaki with Resin Body, ferrule, Collar and endcap with Brass and Yellow Liner spacers handle. Been working and playing with this for the past few days and I finally finished it. Not seeking perfection but it’s good enough for me since it will be a daily work beater. 😌🔪👍🏼

New custom from another french craftsman who gets, IMHO, not enough talks here.

Guirec Peron

Long petty/short suji
220x35
135cr3 honyaki
Burnt juniper wood
Nice taper with a very very thin tip

He did a very nice job on this, this guy was very nice to talk with, very reactive on insta.
I asked for a very thin tip and nice taper and did it very nicely.
The juniper wood is very smooth and feels great in hand.
The balance and the blade shape is good too.
Some pics

Thanks again @Guirec Péron

Whole thing looks awesome. Does anyone else have any experience with his knives?

Ahh you went western! Good choice
Yeah, I’m not really into wa handled petties since they aren’t really pinch grip kind of knives. If I’m actually holding the handle, yo works better. Plus, I had one slot in my western (not counting the yanagiba) drawer to fill
