NKD! Nakagawa Blue 2 Mizu Honyaki with Resin Body, ferrule, Collar and endcap with Brass and Yellow Liner spacers handle. Been working and playing with this for the past few days and I finally finished it. Not seeking perfection but it’s good enough for me since it will be a daily work beater.

Nice taper with a very very thin tip

He did a very nice job on this, this guy was very nice to talk with, very reactive on insta.
I asked for a very thin tip and nice taper and did it very nicely.
The juniper wood is very smooth and feels great in hand.
The balance and the blade shape is good too.

I got one of his early honyakis. It's a lot of blade and a bit thicker than what I usually gravitate to, but good distal taper and been fun to use. I'd need to use it more to make a really thorough report

Yeah, I’m not really into wa handled petties since they aren’t really pinch grip kind of knives. If I’m actually holding the handle, yo works better. Plus, I had one slot in my western (not counting the yanagiba) drawer to fill
