The slow blade penetrates the winter squash
Iāve seen that sort of thing in videos from Japan. Can't show the naughty bits. Camera trying to do too much. Somehow missed that when I sent them out

Fred, you rule my man. Thanks again!
I see what you did there.

Itās a matter of perspective.I see what you did there.
SHINDO SHAMAN 240
246x53, 152 g without the handle. Good distal taper, a lot more "smooth" with less hammer marks than my older work of his, though you can still see some on the left side. I am exceedingly pleased with the profile on this. That big flattish sweet spot is a push cutting dream. No sharp spots on spine or choil, OOB edge is sufficient but meh, will put my own edge on it after handle install. Tagging in @Yoshi As I promised to show him as soon as it arrived.

1) love the stickers!2nd knife that arrived. A fellow countryman well loved by this forum.
A 228 mm x 51 mm Raquin 125sc xc10 cladding. Classic grind. 172g with the famous burnt oak handle. Also a little strop he made.
Little teaser of something great to come at the end

I give the install a B+/A-. Thereās the slightest bit of wabi sabi on it but Iām happy with how it feels in handWhat do you think about the install? I got mine in today and it looks a bit wonky to me.
I'll take a pic later for comparison with the regular Shindo nakiri that I got last year
