The Akifusa SRS15 was my first powder steel blade. It was the sharpest stainless knife out of the box I have seen. Liked the way it sharpened and edge retention was good. I believe the Kagero is the same knife with some upgrades. I sold it to a student after thinning it some.

The Takamura Santoku came in today. It has a very thin grind, edge is fairly sharp OOTB. Cut up some produce glides through food nice little cutter. Will let her use it for a while before I put an edge on it. She likes cutting with it and the size.
