Bought this from the homebutcher sale. I was going to send it to Jon, have him regrind it. Then rehandle it and whatnot but now I’m having second thoughts. A little big for my hands really. If no one is interested I’ll still keep it and dink around with it.

$220 shipped or trade, looking for 180mm bunka type thing or other smaller & taller utility. Will entertain any offer

These knives cut much better then they look like they should...i remember being blown away the first time i tried one. Nice deal, glws.

I’m pretty surprised by the distal taper actually, I did not expect that. Measures:
4mm at spine
3mm at half
2mm @ 50 from tip
1mm @ 10 from tip

I don’t have calipers but these are pretty accurate.

I have both the 8” and 10” versions. The 8” is in carbon, the 10” is stainless. They do cut better and more comfortably than what I expected. I have a large hand and use a pinch grip and have even found the 10” light and easy to maneuver. They have a permanent spot in my knife drawer and I use them regularly enough to not feel the need to sell them. The 8” had a quality control issue. The rivets stood proud from the handle to the point that it was uncomfortable to use for extended periods. I returned the original and received a replacement. It is better and it’s reassuring that the maker stood behind their product. All in all though an innovative and great design.
