i there any there know if there is a Japanese sign for kitchen knife or they just uses one for knives in general.. if you do please post a link or image, i building a knife stand and was tinkling about putting that in there some there..
i got these the one on with the black black blade is looking funny at the end that because there is protection layer i need to remove, i new in to there kind of knife, just got them
Well guess a gyuto have it good think but a my cooking life i have been using a santoku shaped knife.
If get gyuto it will with wa handle. Love the old style look and feel

I'm still trying to design one my self, the hold 5 knifes, but i want it to hold a small petty on the top. so is getting a lot of angles, not is to get right ;-)
