    Flipper alert

Totally get that but would refrain from calling something a flip, or flipping when it's not. If I buy something from Australia, shipping will be like $75 depending on exchange rate. Then depending on Customs it will be 30% more(tax and custom duties). In Germany it is (value of product +...

    Flipper alert

I agree with most of what you said but it's still not a flip. If you have 1400 in it and selling it for 1400 it's not a flip. First person bought it for 1000 and sold it for 1400, so making 400 profit isn't also necessarily a flipper. He might just have gotten lucky when deciding to sell it...

    Flipper alert

But that's not a flip. Flipping means you are buying it with the intention to sell it later on and make a profit. So with knives you usually don't use them so their worth doesn't decrease

    Hello from Germany

Knife Solingen will be fun for sure. Trying to also visit but quite some way, from Bavaria. Not too many interesting kitchen knife makers there but still some. Hardent, Shir, Tritz, Batbatforge, OldOwl... I think these are all solid choices. Have one from Antoine, was curious about the Mk1...

    WTS Red Flags on BST

I don't think it's not warranted to ask for more pics and infos but Why jump the gun so fast? Give the seller some time. It's not gonna instantly sell. As a potential buyer I would ask for additional info and pics too. All of this shows more of an illiteracy of BST to me

    WTS Red Flags on BST

Seems like he is pissed he is getting ignored... He asked a question which didn't get answered in a few hours, so better cry wolf. When I'm at work I won't check Kkf for at least 9 hours and then might not be interested in the evening to do so. Of course I will do if I have a BST listing. Seller...

    Best of yoshikazu tanaka

Yoshikazu Tanaka Vintage Swedish Carbon steel 228x50,6mm 184g 3,16mm out of the handle Nicely balanced with a burnt chestnut handle. Nice profile imo, cuts really well, interesting convex grind and nice to look at. One of the best Japanese knives I have tried. If the grind on the Rentetsu ones...
