    I’ve been getting spices at Burlap and Barrel, in NYC. Expensive but nice spices. Excellent customer service. All spices are single origin. I really was impressed with the freshness of the product.

    Aizu Is you’re best bet. Consider a Mauroyama Asia for more refined edge. Ohira suita, but these are very expensive for good stones. red aoto, sold by jns are good too, but I haven’t seen any available for a long time. Stay away from very hard stones.
