    How bout the pivoting door idea, but put double doors on the front of your cabinet that when you open them, they could slide back in on each side of the cabinet? What are the measurements you are thinking about having the cabinet built to?

    I’m curious though, those of you that use the Hasegawa boards, how well do they hold up in the dishwasher?? I’m wondering because of the wood center. I would think exposing them to that kind of temperature & water would make them come apart

    If I can add my 2 cents, we tell all of our customers that if you use a cutting board very frequently, a end grain board is for you, & it’s friendlier to your knife’s edge.
