Bought this from another KKF member. Doi's blue 2 performed well for me, but I prefer laser tips and this one's spine doesn't taper until the last two inches. I debated thinning out the tip to keep it since I really like the handle, but I haven't gotten to it and figured I'd sell it instead. Patina was removed with stone powder and edge was touched up on a 4k.

I only cleaned the patina off with tosho's kasumi powder. The polish of the cladding that you see is the original finish that's most likely a faux kasumi (sand blasted perhaps since it's a $300 knife).
