Have too many stones that do similar things, selling some repeats to fund other expensive purchases.
A very fast-cutting Kasumi machine that produces very good contrast: A strong example of Shiro Renge Suita, one of the most sought-after types from the Ohira mine. Close your eyes, rub knife, and you'll get perfect kasumi very quickly.
An outstanding piece of high performance, visual appeal, and collectability. A joyful experience & reliable tool for both beginners & experienced users.
Many allege that older stones as such are usually better than more recently processed ones. That's not entirely true, but it is true that some stones of desirable features / strata / mines were more abundant back then but are now exhausted / inactive.
Selling for $2350: Purchased for $3250 from Jonathan @lacasadetoishi. DM if you want to talk prices. I don’t claim to offer the same level of sourcing, vetting, and consultancy as Jonathan, so I adjusted the price to a more market level.

[more video & photo demos to be updated here. Pls DM for now]
Here's a hasty video to show haw extremely fast it is - I rubbed a (unpolished) gyuto on it. Very, very light pressure but tons of black swarf immediately.
**This was right next to a blue-grey ish window + iphone's blue-ish tint, so the color is quite off.

- Size: 209x78x41
- Weight: 1580g
- Finess: 7000 grit-ish,
- Hardness: 3.5-ish, self-slurries perfectly. Esp. great choice for kitchen knives
- Speed: 4.5
- Effect: fine kasumi with good contrast
- The golden dots are only aesthetic, not toxic at all.

- In your DM, please share everything you wanted to ascertain before purchasing. Helps both parties save some time from going back and forth
- Payment via PayPal / venmo / bank transfer are all fine.
- Shipping out of Beijing arrives in most countries in a week, occasionally takes a few more days at the customs. I will share tracking for both legs.
- I've done quite a few transactions here, and my counterparties can back me up.
