Hello - What sharpening system should I get to sharpen a birds beak pairing knife? I know the knife is quite cheap, but I use it a lot and is very convenient.

Would a worksharp precision adjust elite or anything similar that I can buy to sharpen it?

Convex stones (not common, but available) are good. Slipstones (very common) should work very well. But yes, a non-glazed ceramic rod (slow) or a diamond rod (fast) would be good choices as well.

On balance, I'd probably go with the diamond rod, because that sure looks like cheap crappy stainless, and diamonds are the least-frustrating way to put an edge on that stuff.
