Hello KKF!

The knife I have for sale today needs no introduction… this beauty is a 240mm Shigefusa Kasumi gyuto. I bought this knife to use at home, as a result it was never used in a profession setting. This is a dope knife that I’ve enjoyed using… I’m only selling it because there’s another unicorn I’ve been chasing…

I have been keeping up on the maintenance for this knife so this knife has been touched up twice on stones. Usually with a Shapton Glass 2k and/or a Moriehi Aizu.

Also included is the original blue box.
This is not a new knife and has a heavy patina from 8 months of use… I’m looking to get 1175 for this, shipped CONUS.

Specs are as follow:

Blade length- 244mm
Blade height at heel- 54mm
Spine thickness at handle- 5.1mm
Weight- 224g

Thank you for looking!

Incredible patina.
I appreciate that!

That’s one of the great things about having a knife that’s dedicated to cooking at home for me. I was able to sorta “baby” this more than I could compared to knives I work with... After every use I would immediately wash, then dry it to be sure it would age as nicely as it has.

It shows that you took great care of that knife. Well done. Sadly I missed it.
