Another weird sell here but I have this tetsujin that I attempted to etch with my learnings from the TNH experiment. I wanted to have the core steel slightly brighter so I changed up the recipe a little. I also let it etch a little longer for the last cycle which left a more dense pattern and darker line behind the cladding where there was more carbon migration. This guy has the most convexity I’ve seen in a smaller Myojin ground knife, and again has been rehandled with one of @Loong Workz ’s pieces, a really gorgeous museum hit rosewood with Hinoki core. This handle has pretty extreme taper if that suits your fancy.
